Out of Town

Leaving directly after our 11:00 service today -- to teach some ministerial training classes in Stroudsburg, PA. This is with FLAME, a Wesleyan training program for non-traditional students.

Believe me, these folks ARE non-traditional! Last year, in one of my classes, I had three former drug dealers! Now they're dealing in Eternal Life!

I'm teaching Evangelism/Church Health and Church Leadership/Management.

So -- don't count on any posts this week.

Some of the best preachers I know are men and women who admit they can't do life without God's help because they already tired it and failed. Here's to former druggies turn preachers!! They have a message of God's transforming power.

It was great to see you at FLAME. I especially enjoyed the opportunity to particpate in the faith baptism even though I wasn't part of your class. I had a chance to ride home with one student who's life has been radically changed by Christ. I was excited just by talking to him.
