All the Way to Derby

If This Is Not A Place. . .
If this is not a place where tears are understood, Then where shall I go to cry? And if this is not a place where my spirit can take wings, Then where shall I go to fly? I don't need another place for trying to impress you With just how good and virtuous I am. I don't need another place for always being on top of things; Everybody knows that it's a sham. I don't need another place for always wearing smiles, Even when it's not the way I feel. I don't need another place to mouth the same old platitudes; Everybody knows that it's not real. So if this is not a place where my questions can be asked, Then where shall I go to seek? And if this is not a place where my heart cry can be heard, Where, tell me where, shall I go to speak? I've been doing a lot of thinking lately about vision. It seems like it is so easy just to do what you do everyday and keep on doing it. It is so easy to focus on the day to day details and things that need to be done, that sometimes we forget where we are going. Sometimes we forget that there is something bigger and greater than the tasks at hand.
ReplyDeleteI was in Africa in September and had a woman prophesy over me while I was there. One of the things that she kept repeating was: "New Minsisty, New ministry....". Since then, I have really been seeking God for what He wants to do and change about me. I cannot wait to see what the Lord has in store.
