Did the Baptism Take?

At church, when the pastor announced the upcoming baptism, a little girl leaned over to her mother, and in a loud whisper, asked,

"Have you been bab-tized, Momma?"

Impatiently, the mom said, "Of course I've been baptized!"

To this, the little one replied, "Too bad it didn't take."
