Mother, Child and Womb

Although I deeply respect womanhood -- and realize that every human entered this earth through the birth canal, it is still hard for me to wrap my brain around the new Trinitarian concepts which are being proposed to the Presbyterians in June.

It's hard to picture the new version of the Doxology:

"Praise Mother, Child, and Wo-oooo-ooooomb, Aaaa-men."

There are points in this article that are accurate in pointing out how they came to look for this conculusion - What, you may say! The article was accurate in pointing out that the doctrine of the Trinity is not often taught and is often misunderstood. What happens when Biblical truths are neglected? The gaps get filled in with unbiblical explanations.

Not only does this analogy not fit but it ignores the unity of the trinity and really focuses more on a trithiestic model of the Father, Son and Holy Spirit.

I have loved that there are a vast array of descriptions in Scripture that help understand what God is like - however, It is not good to look at one piece and make it the whole.
