Marie and Jim have been married over 50 years.
A couple of days ago, she brought in this little piece of advice from her "Wild Words from Wild Women" calendar:
"Chains do not hold a marriage together. It is threads, hundreds of tiny threads which sew people together through the years. That is what makes a marriage last -- more than passion or even sex!"

I didn't think people got married anymore.
ReplyDeleteOh anonymous, some of us still believe in it and work everyday to keep it new. Nearly 32 years of that at our house.
