Senator Sues God
Nebraska state senator, Ernie Chambers (D- Omaha), is suing God, claiming that the Almighty has made “terroristic threats” against him and his constituents, inspired fear and caused "widespread death, destruction and terrorization of millions upon millions of the Earth's inhabitants."If he wins, I wonder how Ernie will collect.
Wow what a sad, confused and lost individual. Truly someone that needs a lot of prayer.
ReplyDeleteSomehow this story did first call up the story in Acts of the man and wife who lied and were struck dead.
The first response sounds better, but well they are both honest. God does love us all though.

ReplyDeleteThe story in the linked article isn't the entire story as it appeared elsewhere. His intention, I think, was to point out how ridiculous our legal system can be at times.
ReplyDeleteMaybe, if God were to show up in court though, he could be charged with breaking the sixth commandment--do not kill...except...wait...where did that list of commandments go?
Senator filed a lawsuit against God. Does he know what is written in God's Holy Lawbook, the Bible?

The Bible teaches that at the end of the world all the wicked will come under eternal punishment in a place called Hell, and this time may be very near. There is much Biblical evidence that points to the fall of 2011 as the end of the world.
