Megachurch Map

There are just over 1,300 megachurches in the United States, according to the most recent survey by Prof. Scott Thumma at the Hartford Institute for Religion Research. These are churches that average at least 2,000 in weekly attendance. This is where they're located. Here's the link to see it better (New York Times.)

If you connect all the dots you get a picture of Billy Graham. :)

That is an interesting map. There are a couple of things we could get from it. 1. They seem to be clustered aroung large population centers. I wonder if there are large population centers that don't have a mega church?
2. They are clustered together. Does one MC attract another?

I think if you had a map of all the small churches across our country and connected the dots, you'd get a picture of Jesus.
