We all tend to be either Thinkers or Doers. There are plenty of Thinkers who don't Do, and even more Doers who don't Think.
The world would be better served by Thinking Doers and Doing Thinkers.

ReplyDeleteThat's why I think that the role of the pastor might best be described as a "reflective practitioner." The pastor should be someone who both thinks deeply and critically, as well as acts on those those and reflections.
