J. R. Salzman
I received word yesterday, that one of our Hayward hometown boys, and champion logroller, J. R. Salzman, lost his right arm in Iraq. What a tragedy. Please pray for J. R. and his family.
If This Is Not A Place. . .
If this is not a place where tears are understood, Then where shall I go to cry? And if this is not a place where my spirit can take wings, Then where shall I go to fly? I don't need another place for trying to impress you With just how good and virtuous I am. I don't need another place for always being on top of things; Everybody knows that it's a sham. It is truly a tragedy what happened to this young man. He sacrificed for us. What he and many others are giving for the sake of our safety is absolutely worth honoring. My prayers are with him; that God may give him the strength to praise the Savior even in the times of most tragic loss.
