Missional Community

We are called to be a community on the move, a community of praise and prayer, a community that walks around the world celebrating the fact that Jesus is King and Lord. If we allow this procession to inform what we then do the other 364 days in the year, we might perhaps make a beginning towards living in the power of the Pentecostal Spirit on earth as it is in heaven.

    I love this quote about the church. So often we think of church being in one place, in the building we worship in, but we are to be the church in and around our communities. This past weekend the churches of Henry County and Martinsville put together a youth rally that celebrated that Jesus is King and Lord. It was quite powerful. May God help us move out of our comfort zones to be the church.

    Each of us get to decide how large and widespread our church will be. Personally I strive to expand mine each and everyday.
